We rely on you! Without you supporting us, in so many ways, we simply wouldn’t be able to help children, young people – and their families – in the ways that we do. How children process their grief will have a lasting effect on how they live their own lives in the future. Here are the many ways in which you can support our work:
Organise a Fundraising event:
Over the years, we have been humbled by the generosity, creativity, ambition and, on the odd occasion, madness of all our fundraisers.
We have had people run craft events, set up cake stalls, sell cream teas, make and sell calendars, organise casino nights, run their own music festival, put on a music gig, request donations to Balloons rather than gifts at special events and occasions, run a pamper evening, cycle a very long way for sponsorship, sell donated rubber balls for dogs, and climb Kilimanjaro!
Balloons has its own Just Giving page, where you can set up your own challenge, event or activity and encourage your friends and family.
Make a Donation:
Balloons is a small charity making a big difference to the lives of families affected by bereavement and the news of a terminal diagnosis in Exeter, Mid and East Devon. It is an often-used expression but the phrase, we make a little go a long way, speaks volumes about the way we work.
You can support the work of our charity by making a donation – either as a one-off ‘gift’ or as a regular payment via www.justgiving.com/lookingonwards/donate
