A right royal visit!

In September, Balloons was fortunate to be invited to a couple of events with HRH the Duchess of Edinburgh. Along with six other charities we had the opportunity to meet the Duchess and tell her about our work. Nicky (Balloons CEO) went along with Matilda and Lena (who had appeared in our Comic Relief film last year) and with volunteers Toby, Wendy and Liz. The afternoon held lots of useful conversations with local councillors and members of the Lord Lieutenants office.

The following morning, Nicky attended a charity breakfast hosted by the Duchess, held at Coldharbour Mill in Uffculme. This was a useful chance to network and meet other local charities.
